We only collect what we need to run Subby and make it useful to you.

• Account details, such as your name and email address.
• Subscription details you add, such as service names, prices, billing dates and categories.
• Payment details for Pro plans, which are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
• Usage information, such as the pages you visit and the features you use, so we can improve the product.

• To show your subscriptions, totals and upcoming payments.
• To send renewal reminders and other notifications you have turned on.
• To process payments and manage your plan.
• To answer your questions and provide support.
• To understand how Subby is used and to fix problems.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your subscription data for advertising.

We share information only with service providers who help us run Subby, such as hosting, email and payment providers. They may use it only to provide their services to us.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and Subby.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit. Some of our service providers may store data outside Australia; where they do, we take steps to make sure your information stays protected.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and delete it within a reasonable time after you close your account, unless we need to keep it for legal reasons.

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and measure how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct information that is wrong or out of date.
• Export or delete your subscription data at any time.
• Turn off reminder emails and other notifications in your settings.

We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can contact us, and you may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a significant change, we will let you know by email or in the app before it takes effect.
